Would you like to try serigraph technic? Saet is specialised in serigraphs Milan
The term serigraph has a latin origin (seri) and also an another greek origin (grafein). The first used textiles were of silk but, now, the serigraph stamp is a technic of stamp above all support or surface depositing the ink on a support through the free areas of the fabric.
Serigraph Milan: the procedure
The fabric is treated in such a way that the weft is closed in the non-print parts and it allows the squeezed ink to pass through the meshes in the free parts to deposit on the support. The quality of the fabric and the fineness of its texture determine the amount of ink destined for the filter.
The ink settles on the support in the shape determined by the drawing on the frame.
